A couple weeks ago my fellow band member, Dan Perry, approached me with a task I haven’t designed for before!
He’s currently studying (as far as I understand…) computer programming, and focussing more on android phone technology!
So, his first app that he’s built as part of his studies is a simple musical app for drummers. It holds all the information on popular drum rudiments, and it’s a simple interface where drummers can tap in which rudiment they’d like to learn or remember, and hey presto, the app shows them or reminds them how to play it!
Dan just wanted something simple, eye-catching, and outstanding above other similar applications on the market.
I thought it was going to be risky approaching him with a purple, but he loves what I’ve done with it, so I’m happy!

A type treatment I put together as part of a short film that was shown at the Sundance Film Festival 2012.
It was part of a typography collaboration for the audio reprise “And a New Earth.” I’m part of a creative open-source production company called hitrecord.org which is a global community of creatives in all industries collaborating on cool projects - all orchestrated and kept in check by actor and entrepreneur Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

side note: yes, this treatment does look very similar to the posters I made for my bands, gig! I made this type treatment and liked the look of it so much I did the posters on the same day… ;)

This is a communications project from the beginning of 2010.
The brief was to create a logo for an international travel company, “Go Global.” Alongside the logo, we also had to create 3 pictograms/icons that signified
- premade travel packages
- premade packages with room for custom changes
- complete custom control over your travels
These were to be options that customers could select on a website when booking travel.
After this we were told apply the branding to business cards for travel agents, a letterhead and compliment slip for the company to send out to clients for confirmations, thanks, etc.
My logo has a feeling of airy freedom, I wanted travelling with “Go Global” to feel like an easy and relaxing experience.

The final instalments to my final project of my degree!
These posters coincide with one of the typefaces I designed - Pleiade - which was my favourite one and the one I put most work into. These two posters are just an exploration/playing exercise to have some fun with the face.
I used quotes from Dr. Steven Greer and Sgt. Clifford Stone - two “witnesses” in The Disclosure Project conferences, which I based my “Welcome” campaign on - to continue with the theme of this last semester which was aliens and their existance, and how that relates to us!
